The Automotive Cogged V belt is designed for use in applications where pulley diameters are relatively small and belt speed requirements are high. The fiber loaded cogged construction provides optimum flexibility and minimizes heat build-up.

A. Top Fabric: The cover is abrasion-resistant and flexible, providing a firm grip on the to minimize slippage during use. It is woven from multiple plies of yarn, rubber-treated for maximum adhesion, and protection against the elements and static under adverse conditions.

B. Adhesion Rubber: The adhesion rubber binds the tensile cord and fabric cover to the compression rubber, preventing the separation of belt components during use.
